Year 6 visit The Story Museum

On Thursday 28th September 2017, Year 6 travelled to the The Story Museum, in Oxford, to complete a story workshop, a tour of the museum and a tour of Oxford. The workshop was based around finding 'the bones' of a story and how we can retell a story using the key bits of information. On the tour of Oxford, the children learnt about how famous authors such as C.S Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien got inspiration from the features in and around Oxford. It was a day full of inspiration, information and story writing brilliance - a thoroughly enjoyable day!
