Poet, James Carter, an inspiration for amazing work by pupils

James Carter, poet, visited Harriers for Poetry Day on 26th January. He shared some of his own poems, led assemblies for the whole school, ran workshops in Years 3 – 6 and then led a ‘big finale’. The children wrote some phenomenal poems inspired by James. The Year 6 poems were so amazing that James gave them one of his special badges.
