30th October 2018: Ofsted Inspection
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are pleased to share our Ofsted letter with you and celebrate that we continue to be a GOOD school. We are delighted that Ofsted recognises many of the positive things we do at Harriers for our pupils and that we are always striving to improve our outcomes for all of our pupils. The inspector identified strengths throughout our school and that we have the knowledge and capacity to improve the school even further. From here we continue on in our journey towards outstanding.
Here are some quotes from our Ofsted letter that we are particularly proud of:
‘Pupils enjoy coming to Harriers Banbury Academy’
‘They have developed a culture of high aspirations, where pupils and staff fly high’
‘Moulding the whole child is important to staff at Harriers Banbury Academy’
‘Pupils are engaged in their learning’
‘Leaders have established a strong culture of safeguarding in which there is no complacency’
‘High expectations are evident right from the beginning of a child’s journey at Harriers Banbury Academy’
At this point we want to thank our brilliant team of staff who have consistently demonstrated their skill and passion, in particular throughout the Ofsted process, to provide an engaging education for your child(ren). Alongside this, we are so grateful for the support of our Governors and you, our parents/carers and the positive feedback you gave to Ofsted. Last, but certainly not least, we want to praise our wonderful pupils who shared their enthusiasm for learning and love of Harriers. They are the best advert for what we do!
