At Little Harriers, we ensure that every child in our care feels supported, challenged, confident and comfortable in our setting. Our staff are experienced in Early Years education and have made our Nursery into a wonderfully rich learning environment for children aged 3 to 4. We make certain all ratios and policies are in place to guarantee the safety, happiness and learning of every child.

About Us

Each session starts promptly at either 08.30 am or 12.00 noon. During each session, children will take part in a range of indoor and outdoor group and individual learning opportunities and free choice learning through exciting play-based activities. Activities will include a free choice element but will all be designed to target specific learning needs. We encourage independence, teamwork and pride through our setting, and expect every child to try their best in everything they do.

Children will also take part in circle times with their key worker, as well as registration and story time with the whole cohort. Snack time will also take place every session with the whole group. Children will be provided with a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit and water is available for them to drink whenever they would like it through the day.

We are a fully inclusive Nursery and provided interventions and individualised learning and support to help all children to believe in themselves and achieve their full potential. For more information please read our SEND Policy.

As part of Harriers Banbury Academy, we are also lucky enough to join in with whole school events e.g. Nativity, charity events, and school activities such as the book fair and disco among many others.
