What we are learning in Nursery
Week beginning 9th November 2020
We have been super busy at Nursery this week. We started by creating our own Nursery dinosaur, Mrs Bell drew him and then we coloured him in, he is a Stegosaurus.
On Wednesday, we learnt about how people a long time ago helped us, we made a big poppy for our classroom and we even stood still for a little time.
Friday was Children in Need Day and we came to Nursery in our pajamas. We took part in Joe Wicks’ workout and also joined our Zoom chat with our friends at home.
Have a nice weekend and we hope to see you all next week.
Week beginning 2nd November
Welcome back to Nursery, we hope you had a lovely restful holiday.
This term we are going to learn all about dinosaurs. We have started our topic by looking at some pictures of different dinosaurs and we tried to pronounce their names, some of them are quite tricky! We have made our own dinosaur threading cards and also had fun painting dinosaurs in our painting tray.
We had our first visit to the Forest school with the Reception class. Mr Sherington cooked us some sausages and bacon on the fire and then we got to explore the forest.
Mrs Bell spoke to us about staying safe on Bonfire night. We painted some lovely firework pictures.
